From the outside in, the lives of friends Jane, Karabo, Zolani, and Tsakani looked perfect. People admired them. What the admirers did not know, were the challenges that the friends were faced with. The four friends, like most people, used the masks of strength, independence, bullying others, being cool and calm as defense mechanisms to help them deal with the world. These masks also covered their authenticity and reality.
